Happy Painting,
Charndra
P.S. I’ll be honest — recording
this first episode was both exciting and terrifying. I thought I’d feel calm since I had a script, but talking into a microphone felt strangely weird, thinking that someone on the other side of the world could listen to it. More than once during editing, I got the yips and had to remind myself that this is just another way for people to discover my collaborative art tips. Yes, it’s a micro-niche — but it’s my micro-niche, and maybe even a blue ocean waiting for others who love painting
together.
When I finally hit publish, I sat back and thought, “Well, that’s my first step.” And you know what? It feels really good to have started. It’s imperfect. I don’t have fancy tech — I record on my phone and edit in Audacity — but it’s done and out there. OMG!
They say you only find your
voice after about 3 months of podcasting, and it takes 6 months to really feel like you know what you’re doing. So, if this first episode sounds a little rough around the edges, thank you for sticking with me as I grow into this new format.
If you do have a moment, I’d love for you to listen and let me know what you think of my voice — both literally and figuratively. Does it make you want to pick up
a paintbrush? 😊
Thanks for being here at the start of this experiment.
