Hi ,
Â
I’ve been working on something I’m really excited to share with you — the beta version of my:
Â
Pattern Play Classroom Toolkit
A Structured, Inclusive Framework for Leading Collaborative Painting
Â
This has grown out of years of painting with groups — kids, adults, complete beginners — and seeing just how powerful it is when people create something together.
Â
But I also know getting started can feel uncertain.
Â
- What do you do
first?
- How do you keep it simple?
- How do you make it work for a whole group?
Â
That’s exactly why I am creating this.
Â
This Toolkit is designed to help you:
- get started without overthinking
- guide your group with simple, clear steps
- feel confident leading collaborative art
Inside, you’ll find a full 60+ page guide covering the Pattern Play stages, practical tips, and quick reference tools you can use
during a session.
(Note: this beta version doesn’t include images yet.)
I’d love your feedback
To keep it simple, you don’t need to review everything — just share 3 quick points, perhaps:
- something that works well
- something that could be clearer
- anything you’d love to see added or improved
- or simply whatever you want to share
This is an early version — I’d love to hear your thoughts! Just hit reply to this email.
Â
If you’d
like to be acknowledged, include the name you’d like me to use at the end of your comments (first name, full name, or preferred name — you can also add your occupation or organisation if you like).

Thank you for being part of this — I can’t wait to hear what you think.
Â
Warmly,
Charndra
Your Inclusive Social Art Guide.
Â
P.S. Your feedback will help make this
Toolkit truly easy to use, so anyone can jump in and lead fun, confident collaborative art sessions — thank you for shaping it!
